a blog by Christopher Swenson

About me:

I'm a computer scientist who is passionate about programming, software engineering, mathematics, writing, and open source.

I hold a Ph.D in computer science from The University of Tulsa, where I also earned an MS in computer science, and a BSCS in computer science and mathematics.

I've been an active developer for over a decade, and have been employed, notably, by the U.S. Government, Google, Simple, Seed, Capital One, Twilio, and worked as a freelance consultant. I've been, at different times, a vulnerability analyst, security engineer, computer scientist, and software engineer.

I wrote a book a few years ago: Modern Cryptanalysis: Techniques for Advanced Code Breaking.

In addition, I have also contributed chapters to several other books:

For transparency, I want to be clear that I work for multiple different organizations throughout the year, including Mathgineering, and others.

I work on a contract basis for other organizations occasionally, and if you have questions, please feel free to contact me at swenson@swenson.io.
